Dirty Martinis Rehearsal Rooms

Recently I've been pretty quick to point out the venues locally who are less than supportive of a music scene, but I've been less forthcoming about the people who have a genuine love for music.
The venues and people who often go above and beyond the call of duty in what they do.
Dirty Martinis/Jollys Sports Bar in Kilmarnock is one of those venues.
Currently they are refurbishing the venue, but have went out of their way to try and sort out alternatives for booking they have had.
It's like Dirty Dancing with these guys. No one leaves the bands and promoters sitting in the corner.
An off shoot of the venue has even been the creation of a rehearsal space for bands and artists.
Within a stones throw distance from the bar itself they have soundproofed and fully set up rehearsal rooms for hire.
This is currently being viewed as the first step into providing a bit more for the community.
Future plans include providing guitar and drum lessons, recording and mixing facilities and the opportunity to bring what has been practised to an audience.

Current rates are Mon-Thurs £10 per hour, £25 for three hours
Fri-Sun £12 per hour, £30 per three hours.
